It is with heavy hearts that we share some difficult news. Earlier this afternoon, Winnie lost her brave battle against the Parvo virus. She fought valiantly until the very end.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who donated to help cover the cost of her medical care. Winnie received exceptional treatment from dedicated vets and Brant County SPCA staff, who ensured she was surrounded by love throughout her battle.
Winnie’s brother, Winston, remains healthy and shows no signs of the virus. He will carry on Winnie’s legacy, and her spirit will live on through him. We are immensely grateful to each of you who were touched by Winnie’s story and contributed to her care.
