BRANTFORD/ON (June 15th, 2021)
The Brant County SPCA has recently taken in several animals removed by Brantford Police Services. Each one of these animals has its own needs varying from medical to grooming and at this time, we can not provide a clear timeline of when each will be ready for adoption.
“While they go through the process of becoming available, our staff ensure that they will receive what they need to be as happy and healthy as they can be during their time with us,” says Director of Animal Care, Nadine Dwinnell.
We have received many inquiries about these animals and encourage anyone looking to adopt to submit an adoption survey which is available on our website (www.brantcountyspca.com/adopt-puppies-dogs). All surveys will be processed as per our adoption protocols and procedures.
Our wonderful community has reached out to see what is needed at the shelter to care for our recent additions. The Brant County SPCA is in need of monetary donations to help with the animal’s medical needs and general care. Donations of canned puppy food and sheets/towels/blankets are also welcomed. Monetary donations can be made by Visa or Mastercard by calling the shelter at 519-756-6620. Cheques can be mailed to the Brant County SPCA, 539 Mohawk St, P.O. Box 163 Brantford, ON, N3T 5M8.
We are also in search of foster families in the community who would be willing to take on some furry friends. We currently have two mothers with litters and a third who is due to have her puppies in the next 1-2 weeks. If interested, potential fosters can find our foster application on our website (www.brantcountyspca.com/foster).
Thanks again to our community for their support while we care for these animals.
