We need your help for Luna, a beautiful cat who just endured emergency surgery. Luna was carrying a kitten who had passed away in the womb, usually when this happens it results in a miscarriage but in Luna’s case her body held onto the kitten. The cost for Luna’s surgery and subsequent care is estimated to be around $3,000. Now Luna has been spayed and the toxins have been dealt with, we are hopeful she has a smooth recovery.
Luna was brought into the Brant County SPCA last week through our Friendly Finder Program, which offers resources to people who find stray cats in our community and want to help these animals in need. The good Samaritan named Jaidyn who found Luna noticed something was off and brought her to the shelter for a check-up, where it was discovered, she needed emergency surgery. We are incredibly grateful for community members like Jaidyn who take the time to ensure animals like Luna receive the attention and medical care they desperately need.
Her sweet nature and bravery have captured our hearts, and we are determined to do everything possible to ensure she gets the medical attention she needs. However, we cannot do it alone. We urgently need your support to cover the cost of this emergency surgery.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference to help Luna. Together, we can ensure she gets the critical care she needs and give her a chance at a happy, healthy life.
Your generosity can save lives. Thank you for your compassion and support.
